As a freelance filmmaker, I often find myself playing multiple parts in an effort to tell my stories by any means necessary. This  handmade style production has shaped my theatrical  filmmaking style. The stories I tell are often in  surreal, dreamlike settings, which is why I utilize handcrafted sets.  My firm Incubus is a great example, where I built a small set in the unfinished basement of my childhood home. The  same set was re-designed for almost every scene in the film. Utilizing the same handmade-style for costumes creates separate pieces of art.
